Code Syntax Highlighting for WordPress

I personally feel WordPress is the best blogging site out there but when your blogging about code it can be hard to get you code presentable. It turns out that WordPress has built in support for this.

The only problem is that I like the rich text editing that tools like Microsoft Word or Windows Live Writer can provide, including spell check. Well it turns out so do others and I found this add in for Windows Live Writer that uses this build in word press SourceCode block. You can find the add in here

The result looks like this

using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Linq;
using System.Text;

namespace SampleCode
{
    class Program
    {
        static void Main(string[] args)
        {
        }
    }
}

It supports a nice range of feature all with a practical GUI. One thing to note though is that the formatting does not show up in Windows Live Writer although the addin comes with a preview option.
