If you have ever tested emailing within your application you have probably had your inbox spammed with test emails. This is not only annoying but if you forget to update the email address to your owner account you rinks having those emails being sent to the wrong person.
Today I was introduced to this application that I think is brilliant. It acts as a SMTP server for testing purpose but no emails are actually sent. Not only that but you can view the message later.
It runs as a system tray icon, all you need to do is set up your mail server as localhost with any security settings needed and away you go
When you want to view the email it is very simple, just open the app and select view. It also lets you controls things like the number of emails to keep and whether it uses SSL connections
